Netflix to Open Massive Entertainment Complexes in 2025

Netflix has announced the opening of its first two massive in-person experiences venues for 2025. The Netflix Houses will debut in King of Prussia, Pennsylvania, and Dallas, Texas. These new locations will offer a wide array of shopping outlets, restaurants, and activities centered around popular Netflix series like “Bridgerton,” “Stranger Things,” and “Squid Game.” Each location will span over 100,000 square feet.

A New Experience Concept

The Netflix Houses build on previous pop-up experiences the company has staged for series like “Bridgerton,” “Money Heist,” “Stranger Things,” and “Squid Game.” The goal is to create an unforgettable experience where visitors can explore their favorite stories and characters year-round, beyond the screen. Netflix sees these permanent retail destinations primarily as marketing tools to support their core subscription streaming business, rather than significant new business ventures.

Interactive and Immersive Experiences

Visitors to the Netflix Houses can enjoy regularly updated immersive experiences, indulge in retail therapy, and taste unique food and drinks inspired by Netflix series and films. According to Marian Lee, Netflix’s Chief Marketing Officer, the Netflix Houses represent the next generation of the company’s distinctive offerings. The venues are designed to bring beloved stories to life in new, ever-changing, and unexpected ways.

A Variety of Activities

Outside each Netflix House, sculptures and murals will feature characters from popular Netflix titles. Inside, visitors can dance to an orchestral cover of a Taylor Swift song on a replica “Bridgerton” set or participate in the Glass Bridge challenge from “Squid Game.” They can then dine in a restaurant with a menu inspired by Netflix shows from around the world and shop for merchandise like the “Hellfire Club” T-shirt from “Stranger Things.”

Future Prospects and Locations

The first Netflix Houses will be located in former department stores at the King of Prussia Mall near Philadelphia and the Galleria Dallas. Each location will offer a comprehensive range of experiences within its 100,000 square feet. Netflix has already launched more than 50 experiences in 25 cities, and the Netflix Houses aim to elevate this offering to a new level. These innovative complexes will enable fans to interact more deeply with their favorite series and further strengthen the Netflix brand.

The opening of the Netflix Houses is highly anticipated, as they promise an entirely new dimension of entertainment and fan engagement. Fans can look forward to discovering their favorite series and films in a new and exciting way, bringing a piece of Netflix into the real world.
