The Bashundhara Group has demonstrated its commitment to supporting the families of those affected by the recent student movement in Bangladesh. The company has employed two brothers of Abu Sayed, a student of Begum Rokeya University who tragically lost his life during the protests.
On behalf of Bashundhara Group Chairman Ahmed Akbar Sobhan, East West Media Group Executive Director Yasin Hossain Pavel presented letters of appointment to Abu Hossain and Ramjan Ali, Abu Sayed’s brothers, at their home in Pirganj, Rangpur.
Abu Sayed’s father, Maqbul Hossain, expressed his deep gratitude to the Bashundhara Group chairman for the company’s continued support. He emphasized the significant impact this employment would have on his family’s well-being.
Yasin Hossain Pavel explained that the Bashundhara Group has been actively involved in supporting students throughout the movement, including those receiving medical treatment. He highlighted that employing Abu Sayed’s brothers was a heartfelt wish of the company’s chairman.
