The Floating House from Up
Located in Abiquiu, New Mexico, the iconic flying house from the Pixar movie Up is recreated in exact detail. Just like in the movie, the house features a book narrating Ellie’s life, with every piece of furniture carefully handcrafted to mimic Carl Fredricksen’s home. Airbnb placed 8,000 balloons on top to replicate the floating effect, and a crane lifts the house to 50 feet in the air, making the structure mobile for different locations.
A Unique Ferrari Experience
The Ferrari Museum in Maranello, Italy, opens its doors for an unforgettable night. Guests can sleep in a specially designed bedroom, right next to Ferrari-red sports cars. The bedding is made from the same materials that cover the cars’ interiors. Even the railing around the bed matches the exact length of a Ferrari racetrack.

The X-Men ‘97 mansion in Westchester County, New York, brings the comic book world to life. Every part of the house is carefully hand-painted to create the illusion of being inside the film. Brian Chesky emphasizes that 350 markers were used to achieve this effect, creating an optical illusion that immerses guests in the comic.
